I have worked at Cambridge Road Community Kindergarten for thirteen years after completing my degree as an adult student. Both of my children came to Cambridge Road Community Kindergarten and it was for the same reason that I wanted to work here; it is a smaller more intimate learning environment. I enjoy getting to know the children and their families as we travel on their continuing learning journey. I enjoy keeping the values of the kindergarten I knew when my children came here and incorporating more recent research and innovation from the education sector. It is a great place to work and a great place to learn!

I have worked at Cambridge Road Community Kindergarten for the last 6 years in the role of administrator and more recently treasurer. I have a real understanding of the kindergarten not just in my current administrator role but as a parent with children and as a committee member. Both my children attended this kindergarten and during that time I served on the management committee firstly as Secretary and then Chairperson.

I love the variety of work that comes with the admin role and I enjoy the contact with the children, parents and caregivers and of course the teachers who create such a welcoming, friendly environment to work in.
